The images below will highlight the various characteristics and features of the model versions that we produced in this project. Not only were there distinct characteristics common to each of the three prototype production orders, the 'early', 'late', coal-fired and oil-fired versions each had their own unique characteristics and features. We have worked very hard to capture the true nature of the various prototypes with this project and these photos should help explain how the prototypes developed during their service years.
