Shown above is a version #2 model, one of the special very limited production versions that were included in our production. This version replicates road number 3967, one of three coal-fired locomotives to be equipped with smoke lifters. 3967 was the only locomotive to keep the smoke lifters installed until the end of service. We had not anticipated doing so, but we actually produced an 'early' as well as 'late' variation of this version.
