Southern Pacific GS-1 Project Information

The GS-1 is a classic design, Baldwin built, light 'Northern' class locomotive which was the first in a class of renowned Southern Pacific locomotives. Our project will focus on an expansive service period from the early as-built days to the late service period and will include prototypes from both the Pacific and Texas lines of service.
