A close up view of the detail in the firebox area on the fireman's side of a 'postwar' model. Notice the control levers for the ash dumps which are functional. Also note the miniature cotter 'keys' used to assemble the brake hangers and shoes. The trailing truck of the model is equalized with the driver suspension just as on the prototype. The retainers on the side rods are also prototypical.
