The lead truck on our H-8 is equalized to the drivers just like the prototype, the fulcrum bar used for the equalization can be seen in the opening of the lead truck frame on the center line of the locomotive. The Okadee blow-off cocks on the cylinders are correctly plumbed as are the terminal check valves located between the blow-off cocks. The rail washer plumbing is even present on the lead truck.
