The turret area of the model is again loaded with detail, even under the hatch covers. The hatches themselves are secured with miniature hasps and locking pins just like the real thing. The locking pins are held in place by miniature chains. Also notice the cinder screen on the cab roof ventilator, another component typically not modeled on previous H-8's or any other C&O models.
