This view of 1648 highlights the massive sand domes used on the H-8. With each version the valves are different and sander lines are routed differently. Even the airlines to the sander valves are modeled. Also note the individually applied boiler lagging bands. The blow-down valves and terminal check valves on the cylinders have the appropriate plumbing included.
